The Online Foundation Programming Module from EDM Intelligent Solutions makes measurement program generation as simple as importing the 3D solid model of the part, selecting the views of the part to be measured, and outputting a program. Once a program has been generated, the Virtual Machine Interface (VMI) with Collision Detection Module quickly checks the new program for any collisions between the part and the machine, before the part is loaded into the physical machine.

Utilizing these two software modules from EDMIS, even novice users can have full confidence that each and every new program that they make will capture data on their part where they want, and in a safe and collision free manner.
