3D Metrology Services – Industrial – Industrial Knife Inspection
Intelligent Solutions for Industrial Knife Inspection
Our team at EDM Intelligent Solutions utilizes unique 3D Metrology equipment to quickly and accurately measure components with intricate geometry of all shapes and sizes. With our 3D Metrology Services, we are able to offer our customers in-depth, non-contact, and non-destructive measurements of almost any shape, size, and form.
We implement our advanced, non-contact high-resolution 3D scanning technology to capture detailed surface data from multiple sections along the knife edge. This data is then used to construct precise 3D models, enabling the extraction of highly accurate 2D profiles. Through these profiles and 3D models, our team can precisely analyze its form, including radii, angles, heights, and diameters.
The GD&T and 3D measurements of this component were completed using our RSH-M10 Robotic Metrology System.
