CNC Wire cutting EDM services are what we do best. We offer standard, as well as high precision tolerances, as tight as 2µm (0.0001″) for an array of industries and applications. Our wire cut electrical discharge machinery have the capacity to run multiple wire sizes, including small wire EDM and microwire as small as 20µm (0.0008″) in diameter.
EDM Intelligent Solutions offers cutting-edge CNC Sinker EDM, also known as Die Sinking EDM, Conventional EDM, Plunge EDM or Ram EDM. Sinker EDM enables the creation of intricate shapes without inducing stress into electrically conductive materials. It offers a safe machining solution for complex parts, including those that have undergone prior machining processes.
Precision Grinding not only supports our electrical discharge machining processes, it is also offered as a stand-alone service to our customers in a wide range of industries. Our tight tolerance form grinding and surface grinding machines are capable of producing extremely accurate dimensions through the process of removing microns of material at a time. Micro Manufacturing Services Provided
At EDM Intelligent Solutions, our fine wire cut electrical discharge machinery have the capacity to run multiple wire sizes, including microwire as small as 20µm (0.0008″) in diameter. Our experience and state-of-the-art equipment enable us to provide accurate, repeatable, and quality parts and components made from any type of conductive material.
For 25 years, we have offered standard tolerances (0.0010 inches to 0.0005 inches) and high-precision tolerances as tight as 0.0001 inches (2 microns) for various industries and applications. Our 4-axis CNC Sinker EDM machines produce complex shapes with extreme consistency and can run electrodes made from many materials.
Our 3-Axis CNC mills are capable of cutting with tools smaller than the diameter of a human hair. Advanced thermal controls integrated directly into the structure of our milling machinery ensure consistent cutting performance and production of quality components. Scalable machine tending robotic automation tied to each CNC mill allows for production to run around the clock.
EDM Intelligent Solutions offers a very unique manufacturing process known as Laser Ablation that allows for precision machining of the nonconductive materials that are not compatible with conventional electrical discharge machining. This includes ceramics, diamonds, glass and even plastics.
The metrology group at EDM Intelligent Solutions provides in-depth, non-contact 3D dimensional metrology and dimensional inspection services for parts of almost any shape and size. 3D measurement of form, surface roughness and comparison to nominal CAD models allow us to provide our clients with advanced GD&T inspection services and enhanced 3D roughness parameters for even the most complex components.
