EDM Department Inc. (EDM) continues to remain open for business and fully operational during the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic that is affecting many businesses across the nation. EDM is deemed to be an Essential Business and will stay operational following Governor Pritzker’s recent direction to close all non- essential business.

The health and safety of the nation is EDM’s utmost concern and any order that is related to COVID-19 and related supplies needed to support the efforts to contain it have been elevated to our top priority. EDM plays an integral part to the manufacturing of medical devices, supplies and testing equipment that are saving lives every day. In order to prioritize these orders, we ask that any related purchase orders clearly identify that the requested work is related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

EDM continues to prioritize Department of Defense (DoD) work in accordance with the Defense Priorities & Allocations System (DPAS). This ongoing effort is to ensure the supply of necessary critical resources which are protecting the nation to the fullest extent possible.
