We’re known for manufacturing unique and custom Millimeter Wave and Microwave RF components that are used for industrial inspection, microwave telecommunications, military electronic warfare systems, medical imaging, radar systems, satellite and space communications, and weather systems. The components that we manufacture for our customers are commonly used in extremely high frequency (EHF) microwave systems that operate in frequencies ranging from 75 GHz to 300 GHz. Some of the components we produce are even being used in applications that operate at terahertz (THz) and tremendously high (THF) frequencies at national laboratories like SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory.
Below are examples of various mmWave components that were produced using our tight tolerance, high precision manufacturing processes like Wire EDM, Sinker EDM, Micro Milling, Laser Ablation along with specialized Ultra High VAC and clean handling processes. The precision components that are produced by EDM Intelligent Solutions are inspected for dimensional and surface roughness compliance to the Customer’s design by our in-house metrology experts using advanced 3D Metrology Systems and 3D Metrology Services also offered by EDMIS. These unique capabilities allow us to manufacture mmWave RF and THz microwave components of the highest complexities with the most stringent requirements.
